Spartan armor is already extremely durable by itself. The energy shields help disperse heat around the wearer, and the gel layer is able to absorbe a ton of pressure. That, coupled with the re-entry pack and the ability to lock the armor down could realisticly (by the Halo Universe's standards) allow Six to survive the fall.

What was this "Latch Key Discovery"? I still don't get it. Everything was explained canon wise before Halo Reach was made. What did the fragment of Cortana have that changed the war in any way? I'm pretty sure Cortana found the coordinates of Halo through a crystal. So what? The reason I ask is that I read someone's comment saying that Noble Team's mission was the thing that saved Humanity ...

Note: I know they are born on planets other than Earth. I'm mainly speaking each characters nationality based on accent. I setup the decaited server all fin but know i want to join it. so when i go to halo multiplayer i see my server in the game lobby but when i click to join it it keeps saying retrying to connect to server. How do i fix this and is it possible for me to join my own decaited server.
