2019年5月15日 · I just recently received one of the conversion kits for my Harbor freight X2 mini mill from mbbilici.com. The kit is well thought out and superbly constructed. I had to do some grinding on the Y-saddle's underside (rough casting) to get the ballnut to clear but as I understand it this is a common issue with pretty much any kit.

2017年5月11日 · About ready to start doing something very soon and came across this conversion of the harbor freight cnc mill, with the cnc fusion kit. Just shy of $1350 without software. Would this be a decent setup to start out with ? Or better to buy one already converted? I know I can spend a little money on tooling, vice etc.

2018年7月1日 · Yes, I think you'll find that a CNC-ified HF Mini-Mill will bring you hours of joy. But the real big thing is converting CNC machines to manual use. I took a brand new Haas VF-11, stripped the motors off it, added handwheels to the axis (axii?), and have been having a wonderful time making aircraft wing spars by hand.

2013年6月21日 · I'm looking to gather some opinions about a CNC conversion I'm considering - I've recently ordered and received a rather nice Harbor Freight mill (Milling / Drilling Machine - 1-1/2 HP). It's actually quite a dandy for the price and I'm seriously considering what it would take to get some stepper based control on it.
