2006年1月11日 · There IS an idle screw. It it's somewhere around where you throttle cable connects. It's a small set screw and it takes a small hex/allen. Make sure you remove all throttle cable tension first.

2010年3月8日 · Use a 2.75" coupler to attach your air intake to the throttle body, screw in the throttle stop screw (purple on mine) all the way, and open it if you need more air to idle. Mine is all the way in and with the idle air control valve closed, it runs at around 750 rpm.

2023年6月28日 · I installed a 70mm Skunk2 throttle body on my 01 SH and now i have a high idle problem of around 1500. When i first start the car it will idle at 1,500 cold, then drop down to about 1000 and instantly go back to 1,500. Also when at idle is has a very slow surge. It will go from about 1550 to 1450 every 5 or so seconds.

2002年11月18日 · It will not affect your idle if it is working properly. The more likely problem if it is not the IAC valve are the EVAP hoses which connect the EVAP canister to your Skunk2 IM. A vacuum leak may induce a high idle, even if the car has been warmed up. That IS part of the stock high idle causes to check in the Helms BTW.

2008年2月25日 · try turning the Idle Adj screw on the TB clockwise (the flathead screw by the TB opening on top) more than likely, you're pulling too much air in at idle.... that will cause it to surge..... and as stated before, switch the MAP/TPS back to the way you had it 1st.

2008年1月9日 · Don't adjust that idle screw too much either. Try spraying throttle-body cleaner in it while moving the butterfly (throttle) open/closed. The procedure is actually on the back of the can, if you do buy it.

2007年3月14日 · I talked to skunk2 about my throttle body intake manifold set up. they said that the fitv is eliminated and that when it's cold it will want to cut off when you first turn it on, but once it warms up it should be fine.
