Jac Naylor is a fictional character born in Scawsby from the BBC medical drama Holby City, portrayed by Rosie Marcel. She made her first screen appearance during the series eight episode "Bird on a Wire", which was originally broadcast on 22 November 2005.

Jacqueline Naylor MBBS MS FRCS (Eng) FRCSTh (31 March 1974 – 22 March 2022) was a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon who worked at Holby City Hospital from 2006 to 2022. During her childhood, Jac lived with several foster families who grew tired of her demeanour.

Marcel is known for her role as Jac Naylor, consultant cardiothoracic surgeon lead in the BBC drama series Holby City, a role she has also played in sister series Casualty. [2] She is the daughter of television director Terry Marcel and sister of writer and actress Kelly Marcel .

Jac Naylor is the Director of Improvement at Holby City Hospital. She initially joined the hospital in 2005 as a registrar in General Surgery on Keller Ward, since then she became a registrar in Cardiothoracic Surgery and then the Clinical Lead for Darwin Ward.
