2022年3月19日 · Yeah I agree. I went to gmu. My profs were Ivy educated and courses were great. I’m from California as well and did initially go to a university at home. Gmu fit my social upbringing better: meaning diverse, driven, laid back, inclusive, and lots of opportunities so it felt familiar to me. The campus is really nice too.

I think that it would have been perfectly justifiable to cancel classes that day, because honestly, no one was in any shape to learn that day, especially considering how many people at JMU are from the DC area and had family that they were concerned about.

2021年8月20日 · Lots of people at UVA have friends and siblings at JMU, and lots of people go to the opposite university to visit friends & party. Halloweekend is notoriously big at JMU, and there's always a decent amount of UVA students that go to Harrisonburg for it every year.
