2022年3月27日 · Kaede is the most unique protagonist, by a large margin. Unlike most of the other protagonists, her character was noticeably designed to be more like a character than as a protagonist. Her personality and motivations, although simple, are carried through in a unique way, and her behaviours and actions are distinct amongst the V3 cast.

A reliable man who tells you the truth you wanna hear to cover up his lie and a distrustful boy who uses his lies to take you to the truth. Shuichi is just the guy who finds the truth. Kaede (from the first trial as far as I can tell) is the person who finds the truth as well.

2021年4月7日 · Kaede is a nice new taste on the Danganronpa formula, while Shuichi has a similar, but more human and refined and more interesting version of the growth arc. My favorite arc in the series, may I add. Kaede is humorous and full of charisma, while Shuichi is soft but is still strong with other people.

Kaede was working on becoming a person who don't have to trouble his brother. She didn't care about getting back her memories nor do the other characters care about her old memories either, besides the parents ofc. The characters just wanted the new Kaede to be happy, even if it means she would just stay at home all day everyday.

2019年5月8日 · Kaede isn’t really that special other than being confident, and being confident isn’t easy to write unless you make her like Kaito, and I explained why her being Kaito would be bad for the plot. On Shuichi being a girl, the lying was only done to hide the twist, and people wouldn’t care as much if Shuichi wasn’t disappointing to them.

2023年4月7日 · Kaede was an angel, but she incarnated into the matriarch of the okami tribe of Lycanthropes. Her divine protection extended to the entire tribe and turned them into Tengu. Sort of like how when ranga was named his entire pack evolved, same phenomenon.
