2021年8月26日 · I, too, had one (black lacquer) bought from Michael White in Ealing sometime in 2007 IIRC. The alto was a very decent player with Yamaha or Selmer mpcs. LA Sax were then building up their brand so the products that they sold were RoC imports that they tweaked. They even had a straight tenor.

I believe La Monte saxes were made by Orsi and the superior models were manufactured by the Dutch company Schenkalaars and these were a more professional line model. Sax plays ok, it's vintage so shows signs of age and use but after a once over and minor adjustment it should be a belter!

Its the TS250 which is the red/yellow brass version (doesnt show well in the pic). Comes with selmer 80*C mouthpiece cap and ligature.

2014年7月1日 · I was recently looking into buying a tenor sax, and am choosing between two 600 dollar options, a Evette 116 and a Bundy. I know Bundy has a good reputation as a student sax brand, and I have store tested both saxophones and found them satisfactory at the least. I know very little about the Evette brand though, only that it is French. Any opinions?
