The Knight's Armament Company Light Assault Machine Gun (LAMG) is a light machine gun system developed by Eugene Stoner and manufactured by Knight's Armament Company (KAC). It was previously known as the Knight's Armament Company LMG.

Since the advent of maneuver warfare, high volume/high density/sustained fire has been the decisive factor in enabling small unit movement during the assault, or denying opposing maneuver during counter-assault or consolidation.

K night’s Armament employs a hammer-forging process on a number of our barrels and chambers, which serves to increase the quality of their interior finish, as well as increasing the durability and life of the barrel. These barrels are then Chrome-lined to further the lifespan of the barrel and increase its resistance to fouling and corrosion.

Registration for LAMG 2024 is now open! This conference is part of a yearly meeting initiated in 1991 to bring together genome sequencers, bioinformatics specialists, biologists, and geneticists, to forge interactions that would result in meaningful functional genomics.

Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, it offers a low cyclic rate of 575-625 rounds per minute, and constant-recoil/spring run-out operation, making it more controllable than other similar machine guns, weighing nearly twice as much.

2018年11月6日 · While the 5.56 NATO round isn’t exactly punishing, everything counts in large amounts, and the LAMG’s long and soft shove, coupled with a slower-than-usual 550-rpm cyclic rate, means it’s a piece of cake to hold the gun on target during sustained bursts.

Both 5.56mm LAMG and 7.62 AMG are intended for use by mobile light infantry or special forces units, to provide sustained / suppressive fire capabilities in a lightweight, one-man portable weapon.
