Lighthouse Park located in West Vancouver British Columbia is one of the most amazing scenic parks you will see on the West Coast. Walk through acres of first-growth douglas firs and stand next to trees that are considered to be giants.

Directions from Vancouver. Follow Marine Drive Westbound in West Vancouver until you pass Caulfield Cove Marina. Watch for the Lighthouse Park sign and make a left on Beacon Lane. Continue driving along Beacon Lane until you reach the parking lot.

Some trails lead to bluffs with views of the coastline while others lead you to the various coves and beaches you’ll find in the park. There are also a few trails that loop through the forest. Some of the local favourite trails are Valley of the Giants and the Beacon Lane Trail.

This 75 hectare (185 acre) lush virgin rainforest is located on the coastline of the Burrard Inlet in West Vancouver, BC Canada. It marks the point where the Burrard Inlet meets Howe Sound. Lighthouse Park receives more than 50 inches (1,300mm) of rain annually.
