Did production set up the Tanner & Kate blind date? Why?
Tanner is best friends with people with Down Syndrome. The date seems like a perfectly reasonable idea. Kate seemed nervous, and I would be with all the yes/no questions. There have been a lot of dates with people with Down syndrome …
Why do they insist on pairing those with autism and Down …
The average IQ for a person with mosaic down syndrome is still in the 60s. I don't think many if any people with classic or mosaic down syndrome have IQs above the 70s, which is still quite intellectually disabled. A person with high functioning autism COULD have a genius IQ, while someone with DS cannot, so I am not sure that's a fair comparison.
Does Katie have Down Syndrome? : r/LoveOnTheSpectrumShow
2021年9月23日 · Not trying to be rude. I have ASD and I love this show. But when I was watching S2, I couldn't help but wonder if Kate has Down Syndrome besides autism, not only because of her appearence, but also due to her speech patterns. It's common for people with Down Syndrome to also be autistic, so I was asking myself about that.

2021年9月26日 · People on the spectrum articulate very differently, very literally. I wonder what's Katie's love language. My love language is words of affirmation, so I really appreciate how Ronan speaks very intuitively. I dont think it is a problem that she has down syndrome, in her eyes, she clearly admires and appreciates Ronan. :) ♡

I do notice the advertisements for this show look for people on the spectrum, so I wonder how the Down syndrome or neurotypical matches end up on the show.
This ad about negative assumptions and Down Syndrome
Strange thing to say, but for me it was the show American Horror Story, early seasons, that removed a lot of never-really-thought-through implicit assumptions, when they cast an actor who had down syndrome and her character was doing regular girl things.

Tanner and Kate : r/LoveOnTheSpectrumShow - Reddit
While I don’t think Kate was a good match for Tanner some of the most successful pairings on the show have been with people with Down syndrome. Ronan went on a date with Katie who has Down syndrome and they’re still together years later. Subodh and Rachel dated for awhile as well.

My thoughts on the Tanner/Kate match : …
After Down's, it is the most common congenital syndrome in girls. 1:10.000 births. October is their month and the color purple to represent Rett awareness. Have a wonderful day over there. <3
