The MK 16 Mod 0 SCAR-L is a relatively new 5.56mm x 45mm carbine / assault rifle that has been selected by SOCOM to replace a number of existing weapons such as the M4A1 and the CQBR. 2023年2月1日 · The SCAR Mk16 seems poised to become the newest service rifle, at least with the U.S. special operations community. However, in 2010 the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) revealed it was no longer acquiring Mk16s but kept the Mk17 on hand.
