I saw Hip-Hop as the rightful property and sonically belonging to the New York 90's sound. At the time 36 Chambers had just dropped, Tribe was killing shit, 3rd Bass, Nas, Redman, ect. I felt like rap was at its peak and I considered NWA a part of that conversation, until The Chronic and the G-Funk "ooo-wee snoopy dogg" became so popular.

There's no doubt that Jerry was absolutely critical to the success of NWA. Jerry was a good guy honestly. He took the hit from Cube on No Vaseline and said nothing.
