If your child participated in last year’s summer JG Program, you have to click into their profile and complete the following before you can make a swim test reservation:

Step 2: Reserve a Swim Test Time (January/February) Swim test reservations are required and begin January 30, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. Reservations are made through your NBJG account. Step 3: Swim Test Tryout (March) Participants must annually tryout and pass an NBJG swim test to qualify for the program. Be sure to bring all required documents!

During the Junior Lifeguard program, special beach orientation field trips are scheduled for individual groups to visit various locations in Newport Beach.
