The John Marley Centre, Newcastle is set in a former Art Deco school, with over 100 artist studios spaces, workshops, a grand hall and a theatre, enclosed private gardens and communal rooms, this is one of the most important cultural sites in the west end of the city housing one of the largest networks of artists.

The Wills Building is a well-known landmark in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was built in the Art Deco style as a cigarette factory in the late 1940s for W. D. & H. O. Wills. It is situated on the New Coast Road from Newcastle upon Tyne to the Billy Mill roundabout in North Shields, and overlooks the Wallsend golf course.

It is an iconic Art Deco design in Newcastle’s townscape designed by L.G. Ekins in 1932, but has become seriously at risk due to the lack of proper maintenance."

2008年5月4日 · The Labworth Cafe on Canvey Island is a wonderful modernist concrete building overlooking the Thames. With a large round central section, 2 storeys tall, and symmetrical wings supporting rooftop terraces surrounded by simple metal railings, it resembles the bridge of a ship.
