2021年4月8日 · Bingo. The keyboard is called QAZ, sold by Coffee Break Keyboards. All the alphas are on the base layer regardless of legends, and mods are accessed by either mod-tap or combo (Q+W is tab, Z and . are held for shift, etc)

These types of keyboards generally have multi use keys, as in if you press left shift without holding it, it turns into a z. It's quite comfortable getting used to it through the qaz doesn't have the best of layouts IMO, due to the design.

Recently I've found a wiki page with address qaz.wiki, that was filled with tons of ads.It seems like it's automatically translating english content into other languages and thus scraping Wikipedia content. it's even pointing to Wikipedia images!

2023年4月24日 · QAZ gets it's name from the missing outer alphas. It's traditionally a row staggered sub-40% keyboard. The asthetics are such that the outer pinky mod keys look like the normal outer mods for a 40% or larger but they are actually the "missing" alphas. So, using OP's board as an example, Esc, Tab, and Shift are actually Q, A, and Z.

The way you mixed these keysets could be THE most well-executed use of compact color distribution on a QAZ. #showcase is gonna eat this shit up. 🐸🍻 Reply reply
