2021年12月12日 · Remedy were already dinning with Rockstar Games in New York in 1999 when they went to take photos to create the game. The Housers brothers knew about the game intricately even before it was created and they liked it SO MUCH that mere months after the game was released, they bought the whole franchise !

Alan Wake came out last year and games from 2016 and 2019 have pretty concrete references to actual plot points in these games. As a writer myself, I guess I'm just greatly impressed by Sam Lake's planning abilities. I only wish that Microsoft would sell the rights to Remedy so that they could really connect it to their wider universe again.

Could be #1 too, just doesn't quite have as much atmosphere, although it certainly has character as well. I hadn't kept up with Remedy games from since before AW1 until Control and it really took me by surprise. The gameplay was fun, it was weird, the story was deep. 2022年9月28日 · I absolutely love Remedy and their games, and though I have played Alan Wake (probably like 100 times no joke) and Quantum Break, I still need to play Control! Quantum Break actually does have some references to Alan Wake, but they are definitely more subtle and not as direct as they are in Control.
