2011年1月2日 · Interesting it’s not just SSDR struggling with the Core Isolation issue. After receiving the new computer there are many Core Isolation program issues being effected. The DAX drivers needed a rework anyway and hopefully will repair the old DAX focus issue. Ian

2011年1月2日 · Does anyone have a list or chart comparing the features of PowerSDR to SSDR? Or maybe it is a list comparing the legacy radios to the 6000 series. (sort of like the list comparing the 6300, 6500 and 6700 features). It would also be nice to know if there plans to add the feature to SSDR at some point.

2011年1月2日 · FlexRadio announces the immediate availability of SmartSDR v3.5.8 FlexRadio highly recommends upgrading to SmartSDR v3.5.8 at your earliest convenience and strongly recommends not reverting to any previous versions of SmartSDR v3 to ensure the issues fixed in this release do not reoccur. SmartSDR 3.5.8 can be downloaded from the FlexRadio website.

However, I left it at localhost and normal update speed and changed port from 7809 to 7810. It appeared to connect to SM as it tracked radio freq and band etc. This morning fired the laptop back up, started Ssdr, SM and HRD (did not connect rig control and went straight to logbook). Now HRD logbook does not connect to SM.

2011年1月2日 · On a big pile-up SSDR is a killer. I spread the pile-up across the entire panadaptor and can tell visually where the DX is calling. I listen to the DX, but usually mute the pile-up just to keep the chaos under control. With a good guy on the other end you can see/hear the rhythm and it is usually so easy snag him. Keith - AC9S

2011年1月2日 · Pro: Multi Client (aka: Multi Flex). Lets my app use unused panadapter(s) and waterfalls while running SSDR or the front panel on my M model 6600. Con: DSP functions, ANF, NB, etc. along with several other basic features that have had issues since v1.x, still need improving. The above Con's are the main reason I have not upgraded to v3.

2011年1月2日 · Yes! Using the left/right keyboard buttons to adjust frequency steps would be terrific in SSDR. Why not have the up/down keyboard buttons adjust volume up/down? Although 3rd party apps may be possible, frequency and volume adjustment belong in SSDR.

2011年1月2日 · The SSDR manual says: Press the “Install” button, to bring up the Windows Explorer window for Waveforms. For this example, the name of the radio file is “FreeDV_Release.ssdr_waveform.” Double click on the entry with this name, or single click and press the “Open” button.
