The Rice University Summer Youth Activity Program aims to introduce children (aged 6 to 11) to various sports and recreational activities in a friendly, non-competitive environment. Our staff of instructors and counselors consists of students from Rice and other universities in the area and professionals trained in education and recreation.

NYC's Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is the nation's largest youth employment program, connecting NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences each summer. By participating in structured project and work-based opportunities, NYC youth are better prepared for careers of the future.
