It can really crank at high ft/lbs with a long breaker bar on stuck filters without slipping off or cracking. At less than $5 it's a steal and you can get it off the rack at any Walmart car dept.

2021年4月8日 · Lots of Toyota oil filter wrench on Ebay. As long as it is 64mm most should work. I also suggest getting a torque wrench so the oil filter housing is torqued properly. If the oil filter housing is too tight it can be difficult to remove which may result in damage such as cracking. A crack oil filter housing can leak.

2022年7月22日 · I have a hypertough filter wrench sort of like that from walmart that's dual size, 65mm and 67mm, and the toyota filter seems to fit the 65mm part pretty well. I haven't used it on my rav4 to know for sure though. What I like about the one in your picture is the wrench attachment is deeper.

2018年1月1日 · Coming from a GM family, I love everything about the Toyota's but the oil change process. It is more difficult that it needs to be. I currently have the Assenmacher Toy 640 wrench and it fits too snug on the housing so any torque on the wrench makes it very difficulty to get the wrench separated off the housing.

After cleaning it out, put in the new filter element, coat the new O ring with oil and install it in the groove on the large filter housing and reinstall it by turning it in by hand, then when it tightens, torque it to the right amount.
