2020年8月10日 · Now when I try to login I can type any key but the QWER UIOP keys. If I type one of the keyboard becomes unresponsive. I removed my AntiVirus (AVG) and Malware software (MalwareBytes), rebooted. same results. Prior to the steps you suggested any key would work at the login prompt. Again, If I log out any key works except QWER UIOP keys.

2025年1月24日 · The top left 4 letters (QWER) & the top right 4 letters (UIOP) In total that's 8 letters not working. I'm the IT support guy here and this problem was before I came here. Apparently the laptop keyboard has been replaced but didn't resolve the issue. The laptop works fine if a USB keyboard is plugged in (But still not the onboard keyboard)

2022年8月28日 · hahaha is correct that the --script command line option prevents SBCL from automatically loading ASDF and UIOP (among other things). This is because UIOP is part of ASDF, and ASDF is typically not loaded automatically. Very commonly ASDF is loaded when the user initialization file is loaded, as ASDF is needed by Quicklisp.

2023年9月26日 · "qwer", "uiop" and delete keys are not working. Woke up and the above mentioned keys were not working all of a sudden. I've tried to do my own research and have come to find that the issue is rather common, however there seems to be no solution.

2019年8月30日 · If you issue a uiop:wait-process on the process-info returned by launch-program, your output appears. I guess that it is a kind of race condition where swank or slime doesn't get to pick up the output before it does something else.
