2022年4月7日 · I am playing with 2 different XVT blades - Balsa Hinoki Carbon, and XVT Black Knight 7.. Both super cheap blades.. The build quality of both blades is fairly decent, considering the low price .. The Black Knight 7, which I bought for $9, is a OFF+, stiff & hard blade.. Excellent at flat-hits, and blocks.

I stopped using them because I have started to experiment with different rubbers and lost a few because parts of the glue from the sheets remained on the sponges. If one tries to pick the bits of glue of the sponge often sponge-parts come away with it.

2022年4月7日 · l have used a XVT ZLC KOTO for a while a few years back , Its a hard fast blade the third layer is not koto , it was 20 dollars ,its a clone of the JIKE butterfly ZLC blade that costs 300 dollars , seems very similar even the the handle design is the same as the butterfly JIKE , some one who used the JIKE ZLC said hardly any difference ..the XVT was harder stiffer by a tad bit less feeling !!

I have read here and there that they blades are way stiffer and way harder than normal. Is that true? I have also heard that the supposed "zlc" is actually just kevlar-carbon. Is that true?

2024年11月26日 · Here is xvt 600 and pro 05. Same core thickness. Xvt has higher frequency though because it is zlc. I think zlc works better on this structure though. Zlc feels quick and snappy. Alc feels more muted, without the springy flexy feel.
