"To Gap, or Not to Gap" Inductor/XFMR - Energy POV
2023年7月11日 · how does this approach change when tackling a CCM application? If DCM operation necessitates a transformer-core air-gap (to avoid excessive magnetic saturation) then, CCM operation might need a bigger air-gap because, the peak current in CCM will inevitably be higher than that seen during DCM operation.
Mutually coupled inductor modelling in cadence
2020年2月22日 · Method:2) Using 'Xfmr' cell from analogLib which basically lets you define turn ratio. I am getting different results if I use method1 ('mind' cell) in Z11 plot. The real part of input impedance (Re[Z11]) shows frequency dependent behaviour. But Re[Z11] = just the resistors and should be a constant line in Re[Z11] vs. f plot.

2010年12月24日 · Another reason is the XFMR has a common-mode choke to attenuate noise on both diff pairs (before the signal exits the board onto the cable, which makes a great antenna). You don't want digital ground plane underneath because the diff pairs will pick up more noise and cause you to fail . Here's the hard thing to understand.
power supply - Flyback transformer simulation in LTspice
2021年12月30日 · You need a snubber across the primary of your flyback xfmr. It does not show the breakdown voltage of the generic npn but it's probably being exceeded. For initial simulations set the coupling factor to 1. You can put a more realistic value in when you have ironed out the other bugs. Your npn needs a series limiting resistor.
Can anyone please help me with this ETAP Project?
The node between CBL 1 and XFMR 1 has the ID of Node 1. Bus 2 is feeding a lumped load (ID: LL 1) with the rating of 200 Amp and 85% PF. Update the Load Type so that it is 50% constant kVA and 50% constant Z. LL 1 is protected by a breaker (ID: LL 1_BKR): Cutler-Hammer, HMCA, 0.48kV, 800 A (Use the Library at the Rating page).

Why does a delta/wye transformer make 30 degrees phase shift
2015年9月20日 · Four years late but I didn't like the answers so far, so I'm posting mine. From what I understood of the answer by Andy, he said the phase shift is due to the typical 30° difference between a line-to-line voltage phasor and the corresponding phase voltage phasor, but that's a partial answer; you also need to consider how the delta winding is interconnected and …
