I am trying to make a .cur file so I can make a custom cursor image but I can't find a way to change to files directly or when I download them. I made a new folder for the files and I looked in there for them and found them but when I selected them nothing happened. I even put the files in the cursor images files directly.

2010年3月20日 · You could try saving them as part of a themepack, but I don't believe the themes compress and store cursors internally the way they do with wallpapers. Unfortunately the only way I know to do what you want is to export out of the registry, but that would only work if the new computer had the cursor files stored in the exact same path.

2024年7月20日 · ive been trying my hand at making a few custom cursors of my own. the issue is- when converting my 48 width x 96 height pixel png image into a .cur file and setting the mouse cursor to that image, the image always stretches horizontally.

2010年3月1日 · Windows XP have a lot of cursor schemes in control panel>mouse>cursors. I can delete it or save new cursor scheme, but there is one cursor scheme called (None)and it cannot be deleted because it's Windows Default scheme. I tried to change cursors of (None) scheme, but I didn't find these .cur files in Cursors folder. They must be in system file.
