2016年5月1日 · I've never had a problem with iLok (owned for 10+ years - used with Autotune, Melodyne and EW Libraries) until my iLok 2 died a month or so ago. Even though I had no protection plan (now I do), I was able to get all my licenses back within 3 days and a replacement under warranty (and I live in Hawaii, which always adds a day or two for shipping).

But this means a proper transfer; all 'activations' from one user account to another, so that the new owner has the license, with all available 'activations' in their account, to freely activate to machine, ilok key, or ilok cloud.

2025年3月15日 · The 1176 you bought allows for 'machine authorization', that's why you can use it without a physical iLok key or using iLok Cloud which requires an internet connection. See the little symbols left-most in your ilok Manager screenshot. They represent iLok3-iLok2-Machine-iLokCloud. Greyed out means 'unavailable'.

2024年5月28日 · I wonder if the backlog of vendor authorizations will be processed automatically once things are back online. I purchased the LA6176 and Verve with the 76 deal. Received the UAD 6176 for Apollo, but not seeing the UADx authorizations when logging on to iLok.com and obviously have no access to iLok manager.

2023年2月8日 · Restart your computer, launch iLok license manager, if you are using iLok Cloud, go to file > close cloud session (or close all cloud sessions), then file > open cloud session Launch UA Connect, and you should find it now launches fine for you, and you should be able to see your licenses and access the software.

2024年2月14日 · UA Support told me that if I transfer "All Plugins" when I sell my Apollo, this would include the native plugins. I'm not sure how it would be techically possible to reclaim UADx licenses from my iLok account though, so I'm a bit dubious. I also still do not know why I have 2 distinct licenses for many UADx plugins in my iLok account. Hmm.
