I use a Samsung and want to download some music. Every yt-mp3 converter I see usually leads me to sketchy, (probably) virus-ridden websites, and I'm worried that my phone might get infected.

It's not. I've been using it for a decade and a half (since the days of Jdownloader 1). It is by far the most advanced download manager in the world.

easiest solution is to download the binary, and then write "youtube-dlp LINK". there are a ton of additional parameters you can use, but that is the most basic one. if you don't want to use a terminal /command line, take a look at youtube-dlg.. it's a GUI for youtube-dl (you can use it too with youtube-dlp if you replace the binarys)

There's a web browser (like google) app called Brave, and it has cool features like built in adblockers and VPNs, but on iPhone, by pressing the 3 dots in the corner and tapping "Add to Playlist", you can add your videos to a playlist where you can then hold the video and click "Save for Offline Cache" Afaik, you can only use the playlist on iPhone.

All of them, that I've tried, give me a virus.if you know a virus-free YouTube to mp4 site out there, please link it in the comments below.

2021年11月16日 · I've read YT5s is not safe to use as it most likely has malicious coding. I'd also rather not download any software, if possible it would be best to use a website. I've also seen some older posts asking this question, but I don't want to get outdated information so I'd really appreciate any help.
