2014年3月25日 · Timing chains for the 2007 and 2009 models now extended to 10 years or 100000 miles! The oil change intervals first issued by GM were too long and caused damage. If someone followed the 10000 miles the OLM allowed, GM is at fault, not the owner. The 2010 may have a 2009 engine in it depending on the build date of the car.

They are extending the warranty for timing chain failure to 10 yrs 120K miles. While I appreciate the additional piece of mind that this provides this is a major eff up for GM.
