The planet's aristocratic elites, the Satrapy of Myrra collaborated with the Empire and enforced the Empire's rules and policies. Some Akivans like Brentin Lore Wexley supported the Rebel Alliance by carrying messages and were imprisoned by the Imperial authorities.
