For someone like Lucifer who has ruled for millennia, that's just a flash in a pan. Maybe not even the first time an overlord has flared up like that then faded into obscurity.

Lucifer, despite having good intentions, possibly was motivated by pride on giving the fruit to Eve, which then damn the humanity t evil. Alastor, I think make the deal his so regret of for his pride, beliving he could have tricked the person have his soul. I think this is how the two will bond.

Alastor is on Lilith's leash and thus likely bound to protect Charlie and her hotel. Probably made a deal to learn how he could usurp lucifer Alastor has been scheming on a way to break this leash for the whole of these 7 years and come up wholly empty handed. Lucifer being a short king, switching from ruthless to a caring top in seconds also helps a lot. (Not many fics out there yet unfortunately) I know, not a popular opinion but I was honestly more taken aback by Alastor and Angel. I do like Angel more with Husk, though. But personal preferences and all that crap, am I right?

Vox x Alastor is the best purely because I like the idea that Vox is such a try hard for Alastor’s attention and Alastor simply doesn’t give a shit. A very queer rivalry. Rosie and Alastor are just cute. They give me platonic friends that would marry for financial reasons. Lucifer x Alastor are fun for rival vibes.

Alastor was absolutely intimidated the moment Lucifer walked through the door. If Lucifer was more involved with Charlie's dream from day one, then Alastor becomes completely irrelevant. Alastor does not want anybody influencing Charlie, other than himself. And who is a greater threat to that than her own father who she has unresolved issues with?
