2012年2月28日 · Can anyone offer tips for converting an electric stove oven to bend 3/16" plexiglas panels 24" by 48"? Need to bend approx 90 degrees with a 12" radius. I have been told to heat plexiglass to approx 300-350 degrees, and form over a felt padded form until cool. Any tips on supporting in oven...
Bending plexiglass for center console *any help* - iboats Boating …
2008年7月30日 · Re: Bending plexiglass for center console *any help* Plexiglass (acrylic) is very brittle and will need even heating to bend without cracking and crazing. A plastics fabrication shop is the best option. You could try polycarbonate which bends easily but will be under tension unless you can fix it in place.
Plexiglass windshield | Boating Forum - iboats Boating Forums
2016年11月20日 · I've done some work bending large sheets for making museum display cases. Straight 90 deg bend 4 ft long... THAT was a royal pain to set up. A compound curve is 10 times as hard for the same size sheet. I've also done vacuum forming of parts in a 18 inch vacuum forming system.

2012年12月9日 · If you must stay with alum. the only one that I know of with the asset you seek is the Turning Point Hustler, sold on the site. What you are looking for is "Rake". Rake is the bending of the blades toward the rear of the prop, which when used with proper trim creates a tube effect, like having a long tube with a thrust mechanism in it.
Building a 14ft Livingston console - iboats Boating Forums
2011年12月13日 · Re: Building a 14ft Livingston console The pods are an interesting idea, however my livingston is the model with the wide flat transom and is rated for twin 25's so I think ultimately (i.e. after college) that is the route I want to go, since it seems like having a motor mounted correctly behind each hull would help its performance a lot and eliminate all the …
