2014年8月9日 · Once a year the strange elusive puffer fish known locally as Buriring increase in numbers and are easily caught in the ocean. Our good friend, councillor Mito Gamboa organized the first ever Buriring food festival as part of his program to improve tourism!

Burirings hold a special place in Cadiz's culture. Referred to locally as "tiny sperm whales" due to their appearance, they symbolize prosperity and community spirit. Their occasional presence is believed to herald positive developments for the city, echoing past beliefs tied to the area's maritime heritage.
