In your case, it was about removing a package that still was a dependency of another installed package. (In your case, if there was an inadvertently removed package it was the reverse dependency.) –

Think of it as a great river, with the people who write the software as the source of the river. They would be the upstream, futher downstream would be your distribution, and at the end of the river would be the user.

2016年12月2日 · I've done those things. I've triple-checked the name of the package (libsdl2-2.0-0), & verified availability with apt-cache search. I was eventually able to get this package installed by installing the docs, which appears to have installed the package as a dependency. –

2015年6月19日 · @DanDascalescu Hmm. Might be a bad install/remove script for apt pkg or might be you have some other dependencies that install apache2 as dep (meaning a webserver is needed - and I believe apache2 is default web server). Could be a few things. Just not sure. Has the smell of a good post on AskUbuntu if you haven't found an answer. –
