I found the issue. It's not The Sims or the EA App (I think). The issue is the free My first pet stuff pack. I downloaded the base game without the packs and I managed to open it and then a windows with packs to install popped up so I clicked on restart the game.

If the download hasn't completed, you'll need to do it again. But download only the base game to start with. If it still gets stuck finalizing, let me know; there's a way to start the install process manually. Otherwise, once you install the base game, run the Super Patch (digital download version) to manually patch the game to 1.67.

Haven't been able to download a game through the disk or origin. When trying to install with origin, it gets to the finalizing stage and freezes at 0h 0m 0s. Have tried a clean boot multiple times and delete the necessary files, as well as uninstalling origin, setting it to administrator etc. Nothing seems to be working.

After downloading The Sims 3 game, it's stuck on the finalizing process after about 2+ hours of waiting. It still says 0% remaining and also 0hs, 0m, and 0s remaining. Windows 7. I have such a headache, I just want to play the game. Please help

@ronin123456788 Its now available in steam ,for me its the ea app stops finalising ,i have clise ea app and open origin app to complete install ,sokn gonna move over to the steam app for apex legends as have 200 games on steam only 12 on ea/origin . ....

Thanks for this. I just finally got Windows 10 on my gaming desktop. I dont play sims 4 but this looks like the same problem I'm having with all of my games. Literally all of them get stuck on finalizing. Will try this and I think it will work.

As the button 'Cancel download' was greyed out each time the Finalizing stage got stuck, I would normally had to open Task manager, find EA processes and manually 'End task' them. Because otherwise EA app would bug out and I couldn't even reopen the app no more.

2014年1月31日 · Like in post subject Origin couldn't finalize actualization I've got only 3 Mb left to finish but when I see finalization message in a moment I see origin communicate "actualization suspended" I tried to run the game and Origin as administrator and turned off my antivirus but doesn't work Sorry for ...

So i tried installing the latest update today and i got a problem now that the game wont download or stop finalizing it is always stuck at 67% i tried launching the ea app it with admin and it still dosent work thx for all helps
