2007年7月17日 · I believe they changed the clips for the '03, the same year they went to returnless feed fuel injection (older Zetecs have a return line with a vacuum assisted fuel pressure regulator, the last Zetecs have no return line, and they use a fuel pressure sensor to tell the PCM how much to drive the fuel pump).

2009年1月4日 · If your fuel pump fuse was blown, then you definitely have a problem back towards the tank. I don't believe there is a check valve, because when I disconnected mine (after depressurizing) I had fuel leak out of the line that clips onto the rail (not the rail itself). Your pump isn't getting power for some reason.

2001年4月3日 · Remove the fuel rail , there are two bolts that hold it to the head, i believe they are 10mm bolts, when you pull up on the fuel rail the injectors will come with the fuel rail, just pull slowly on each injector till you feel them release.

It should run for a minute then stall. Your fuel system is depressurized. From there, you got two bolts that hold the fuel rail to the Intake Manifold.

2012年7月11日 · The correct way to disconnect the fuel line is to PUSH the red clip TOWARD THE FUEL PUMP and pull the line out of the clip. This keeps you from having to buy a whole new fuel pump assembly to replace a broken red clip as you can only get the clip with the assembly and it’s a whole lot easier to do to boot!

2006年1月25日 · You normally use a smaller return line than the feed line. Your feed line will need to support consistant volume and pressure to the injectors. This is where the FPR has to do its duty. After that, the excess fuel is just returned back to tank. Depending on the horsepower and fuel requirement, a -6 feed line and -4 return is common.
