Were I looking for a generator, I'd be wanting one of the quiet running inverter generators such as the Honda and Yahama or maybe one of the knockoffs. The inverter generators tend to have much cleaner, better regulated output. For your toaster, it won't matter.

2022年10月9日 · Seriously though - yes a Honda EU2200i is about the quietest generator that will run a small electric heater. You will need to have the generator out on a balcony and even as quiet as they are, it will attract some attention and you may get complaints from others (including those motivated by "sour grapes").

Personally I would use an inverter to run everything, and batteries. Charge the batteries with a generator (gas with car alternators or similar). Also solar could charge them.

2024年10月24日 · Actually, propane is less efficient as a fuel in a generator. A gallon of gasoline has around 70% more energy than a gallon of propane so you will consume more propane vs gas. Propane is better than natural gas though but both are cleaner burning than gasoline. Propane weighs 4.2lbs per gallon while gas weighs around 6.2lbs.

Obviously, a motor that runs full speed all the time burns more fuel than one which can idle when possible. So an inverter generator of good quality (like a Honda) would work.
