2022年11月8日 · If it's an 18+ creator, it will not show up in a general search. You also need to search by the exact name of the creator's page or it will not show up. I'd recommend googling 'Patreon (creator's name)' if you can't find it through the app itself or going to their social media accounts and finding a direct link.

My work is done on YouTube, so I've painstakingly added corresponding Patreon links to every YouTube description and have instructed my patrons to essentially use my YouTube channel search field as a work around, problem is that I like to post exclusive content on Patreon, which users can only find by scrolling through my 600+ guitar lessons.

I don’t think patreon is interested in optimizing a way to discover creators as much as they are in optimizing how creators can engage with supporters that follow them anyway.

Now, Patreon is accountable to their investors to grow and, user count is a key metric. They are likely to have hundreds of thousands of profiles that are incomplete or simply inadequate. Also, there are many creators and others who trade in areas that can cause Patreon reputation issues (adult themed, for example).

2022年9月15日 · Patreon's search is notoriously bad, but honestly, the likelihood of someone coming to the site and searching for a creator is pretty slim. Patreon is not a discovery platform. People find creators on social media, not through Patreon's search.
