Windstad Manor is a piece of property in Hjaalmarch, north of Ustengrav and east of the Abandoned Shack. It is one of three potential homes available with the Hearthfire add-on. After installing Hearthfire, you may purchase this plot of land at Highmoon Hall in Morthal.

Windstad Manor is a homestead which can be built on land purchased from the Jarl of Hjaalmarch in The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire. Windstad Manor sits on the lightly forested banks at the delta of the Karth and Hjaal Rivers, in northern Hjaalmarch, close to the western border of The Pale.

With Hearthfire installed, you can purchase a plot of land in Hjaalmarch to build a house on. Just outside town to the southeast is a Nordic barrow guarded by a leveled skeleton . Inside, a copy of the Illusion skill book The Black Arts On Trial rests atop a shelf.

Learn about the house fire from a local guard, the jarl, or innkeeper. After learning about the fire, talk to the Jarl of Morthal. Visit the house and find a lead. Follow up on the lead and learn who set the fire. Visit the culprit's home and obtain evidence of a plot against the town.
