2016年11月3日 · Seeing that you want to map a drive, this means the drive is a shared drive you can you the old ‘Home folder’ - Connect - Drive Letter (X) - To: Path \shared\whatever, under the User AD account properties. Wouldn’t this require a log off/log back on? We’re in full production, no log offs or restarts.

2012年6月12日 · What I am doing is putting all the computers in a classroom in there OU so I can set computer polices just for them. What I am trying to do is whenever someone logs into the computer they will get a mapped drive of M: to a share. There are no users in this OU. The users are in a different OU. Is there a way I can make this work with GPO and not using scripts. Thanks

2013年2月12日 · I believe the difference is when you map a drive, a drive letter is assigned and you can refer to the location using Z: . If you add a network location, you are merely “bookmarking” that UNC location in your my computer. A mapped network drive (if possible) would give you more “freedom” and functionality compared to a network location.
