Avia B-71, připravená v továrně Letov na výstavu ukořistěné letecké výzbroje pro německou delegaci (účastnil se též např. Ernst Udet), která do Protektorátu dorazila hned v březnu 1939. Stroj nastříkán světle šedou (nebo modrošedou) barvou a narychlo dostal hákové kříže nejen na SOP, ale i na křídla.

Der zweite Prototyp, ANT -40.2, von Tupolews Leuten parallel entwickelt, ging dann 1935 unter der Bezeichnung SB-2 in Serie.
