Bagram Airfield-BAF, also known as Bagram Air Base[3] (IATA: OAI, ICAO: OAIX), is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) southeast of Charikar in the Parwan Province of Afghanistan. It is under the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Bagram Airfield is located in Afghanistan's Parwan Province, approximately 11 kilometers (7 miles) southeast of the city of Charikar and 47 kilometers (27 miles) north of Kabul. The airfield has an 11,800-foot runway capable of serving bomber and large cargo aircraft.
