AN/SPG-62 is an X band continuous wave fire control radar. It is a component of the U.S. Navy’s MK 99 Fire Control System and is used for target illumination radar for the RIM-156 Standard SM-2 missile. Up to four AN/SPG-62 are controlled by the AN/SPY-1.
