No gear lube is supposed to go in the transfer cases. On the ML 430 the transfer case uses approved Mercon III ATF and in that I did use Mobil 1.

2006年8月22日 · MB changed the differential oil recommendation from 85/90 to 75/85. The new fluid number is 001 989 3303. The old fluid 001 989 1703 is no longer in production and the new fluid is significantly more expensive. Currently, online retailers are selling -3303 for a much lower price than dealers.

2010年7月1日 · A non-AMG limited slip diff in a passenger car calls for sheet 235.7 oil. (See attached PDF file.) The Mercedes-approved lubes that meet that 235.7 spec are Fuchs TITAN SINTOPOID FE 75W-85 or MB 235.7 FE-Hypoidgetriebeoel 85W-90, Part # A 001 989 33 03.

Is MB part # 001 989 46 51 the appropriate lube for the rubber seals along the roof? I have seen several different part numbers mention throughout this site. Does only the dealership carry it or can it be purchased elsewhere? Thanks!!!!

2013年3月4日 · Our wagons do not call for 000-989-91-03-10. 000-989-91-03-10 is the wrong fluid. We are following the warning on the caps of our wagons. I am following the direction of my trusted mercedes master tech. Please take the time to email Febi to clarify if you wish. My system demands 001 989 20 03 as clearly printed on the cap.
