Health care for obesity is expensive for patients and the health care system.

Getting enough food is an important first step to ensuring kids can achieve their goals. However, the reality is that 1 in 5 children across America don't have enough to eat. We all deserve to have enough food to eat without worrying about if we can afford it. At Feeding America, we are working to make this a reality.

Right now, 1 in 5 American kids don’t have enough food and don’t know where their next meal will come from. 16.9% of children live in poverty. To put it in perspective, that’s 1 in 6 children who live in poverty. For many families in the U.S., the past several years have been difficult.
