2023年8月26日 · If it is to be your only vehicle, it is ESSENTIAL to have a pre-purchase inspection done before purchase by BMW or an excellent independent BMW specialist shop. Perform ALL of the recommended maintenance and proceed from there. The all-wheel drive system needs additional maintenance and is a potential new failure point.
Unpopular opinion: perfectly fine to buy a used bmw over 100k …
Depends, if every BMW is like the E90 with an N52 I'd say ya. Also depends on the physical age of the car. A 100k car built in 2020 would be far more reliable than a comparably built 100k car built in 05. Shit breaks down, seals go, elemental exposure.
100K mile service? : r/BMW - Reddit
2024年3月16日 · I adore my ride and want to keep it healthy and happy. I drive a lot on the highway and I am approaching 100K miles. My BMW service advisor recommends a 100K service which will cost around $1.5K. Is this necessary? Could a BMW certified mechanic not affiliated with a BMW service department do the same type of service but for considerably less?

They defer or stretch out intervals as much as possible to balance the cost of maintenance with the cost of warranty claims.

The plusses. An E9* 328i is a great car; fun to drive, relatively cheap to maintain (for a BMW), and gets decent gas mileage (it's not a Prius....buuut it's also not a Prius). I've got a E92 328i with 135k mi, it's usually our out-of-town car, and I think it's got another 100k in it (unless it becomes our autocross car).
Guide to buying a used BMW : r/BmwTech - Reddit
The civic I sold had 100k miles. the BMW has less than 50k miles. I'm not an accountant so I'll just say... they are a lot more expensive. That said the civic was a shit box. The BMW is incredible. fast as hell. great to blasting around some backroads in or take to an autocross event and then take the kids to school.
BMW X3 maintenance (actual dollar amounts) : r/BMWX3 - Reddit
At around 100k miles I’m anticipating having to do the oil pan gasket and some other work that will cost a bit. Nothing has broken, it’s all been regular maintenance. BMW’s get a bad reputation because people fail to maintain them or buy them with high mileage and get pissed when they have to shell out for repairs soon after purchasing.
