2021年12月18日 · Generally FE is inferior, but waterblocks for founders edition are much easier to find, especially for older GPUs. Its still just a normal 1070, although the weak cooler would cause it to perform worse than a well cooled 1070, hence why FE is generally inferior. On a side note, I thought the 10 series founders editions looked cool af.

2016年6月13日 · My 1070 fe just came and I played around with oc settings. I was able to get +180 core and +500 memory stable without touching voltage. My custom fan curve is 1:1 and temps did not get higher than 74c

2022年8月3日 · Even 78 to 81 degrees is perfectly fine for your 1070 FE. That's within the temperature limit set by Nvidia. Your GPU will downclock itself in order to never exceed the limit. You don't need to manually set a lower temperature limit. I actually wrote an undervolting guide based on my 1070 FE a few years ago. Hopefully it's helpful to you.

2016年6月7日 · The main reason a 1070 FE purchase is hard to justify is because it uses the Maxwell era non vapor chamber heatsink. So why is it priced at $449 when a key selling point of the 1080 (MATERIALS/vapor chamber heatsink) is missing. The 1070 FE is essentially one of those cheapo AIB blower cards with a fancy shroud except instead of $379 you pay $449.

Yeah, had a few people make this suggestion. For minor annoyances, like a power led on a TV, I usually do something like that.

2016年6月24日 · I have an MSI 1070 and was able to get nearly 200Mhz on the clock, but when I watched the TDP power during benchmarks, it was lowering power intake. Ultimately I was getting the same framerate as before the overclock, just a higher clockrate and lower power.

Question I'm building my first custom loop system in a couple weeks and am looking for black 1070 FE blocks. problem is i don't know what to look for in terms of compatibility or quality. would be great if yall could give me some recommendations or places to look as im fairly new to watercooling.
