2013年2月26日 · Subsonic you want fast powders. PP is in the BE family of OEM powders, so that would be a best bet. Haven't worked with it much. Speed of sound varies with altitude and ambiant temperature. 1100fps is subsonic in certain conditions.

2011年1月11日 · Sure you can shoot the 10mm suppressed. Winchester makes specific subsonic 10mm ammo. Hornady 200gr XTP is also subsonic at 1050fps. I used to own and use a G20 and G29 with threaded KKM barrels and a KAC .45 suppressor with good effect (a dedicated .40 cal suppressor would be more efficient).

2015年7月6日 · Yes, same mass bullet, traveling same velocity = same energy. (Talking subsonic 300 blackout, 200gr. @1150fps or so). I'd say there isn't any advantage to the Blackout in the first 50 maybe 100 yards. The difference comes in at longer ranges as the BC of the Blackout it higher than that of a JHP 10mm.

2016年11月5日 · All of my 10mm guns will feed basically everything I throw at them...excepting this one bullet style: Montana Bullet Works' WFNPB sized to .402 and loaded to 1.25-1.26" COAL. Admittedly, the moulds they use has the least taper in its ogive; the squarest shoulders and bluntest nose of any FN I've ever seen...and I love it for that.

2022年6月12日 · That would be to compare the 180 grain Underwood Gold dot 10mm at 1300 fps to the Underwood 180 grain gold dot 40 S&W load at 1100fps. The Hornady critical duty 10mm load iis actually somewhat useful as a home defense load as a sub-load in the 10mm because it has less muzzle blast than a full power 10mm load.

2008年9月3日 · Most of my 10mm loading has been done with hard cast lead bullets. I've done a fair bit with 170 and 175 grain LSWC with a few different powders. Recently I found a supply of 200 grain TCBB bullets and I've tried two different loads with them, both returning decent results.
