12km sounds like a nice distance to bike commute -- that's time to enjoy a nice ride in the morning/evening. Mine is just over 40km round trip. One tip is to learn how to pace your rides so that they feel easy to you. This will help you build up your aerobic fitness over several months and help you see the commute time gradually come down.

2021年4月21日 · Normally I'd suggest focusing a lot on Power Zone endurance, but since this is such a short effort, I'd personally add more Powerzone (zones 3 and 4) and power zone max rides than normal. I ride long distances outside and I mainly focus on endurance power, but a 12km all out effort is a zone 4/5 effort so I'd train more there.
