2006年2月16日 · The 12SX7 easily sounded as good as the Mil-Spec Sylvania. It sounded cleaner and had less distortion than any other Octal tube I've run in my preamp. This may be because I'm running about 250V B+ in a totem pole design.

2014年3月25日 · From my experience I can tell you the 12SX7 is the best sounding version of ANY 6SN/12SN7 family tubes I ever heard, including some rare and highly estimable (= expensive) specimens like the (RCA)5692 or Mullard/Philips ECC32's. The 12SX7 is a real "sleeper" when good quality 6SN7's are getting scarce and expensive.
