14 gauge - Shotgun Forum
2005年11月16日 · It wasn't the unpopularity of the 14 gauge that caused the demise of the gun, the 59's weren't popular because people were scared of a "Fiberglass barreled gun", though it had a steel liner wrapped with miles and miles of tightly strung/glued fiberglass strands. And the chamber area stood alone in the gun.
Skeet gun recommendations - Shotgun Forum
2025年2月10日 · Unless you are planning on getting into sub gauge competition, just get a 12 gauge skeet gun and shoot light loads, i.e, 7/8 or 1 oz as others have said. Most inexpensive way. If you want to shoot sub gauge, get something that comes with a carrier barrel and tubes. $$$. I splurged when I retired and got a Kolar Max Skeet with tube set. Not sorry.
Is this a good gun | Shotgun Forum
2024年11月13日 · There were numerous parts breakage though if you got an individual gun that the tolerances worked out in your favor, the gun wouldn't be too gritty to function. Parts are few and far between when looking at the Numri h catalog. I think this is the one S&W bought and re-introduced as the 916. That was a flop and gravely damaged their long gun lines.
Is 16 ga a better gun for upland | Shotgun Forum
2024年12月14日 · You can get a great upland gun that weighs between 6 and 7 pounds in 20, 16 or 12 gauge. If the same weight they will handle similarly. You will be hard pressed to show a truly significant ballistic difference between them with upland loads. If you want a gun below 6 pounds both the 16 and 20 gauge can get you there.
O/U Recoil and Manufacturer? | Shotgun Forum
2025年1月13日 · All posts above about fit are spot on - I need a LOP of at least 15.5” and the gun I shot was 14.75”, so there was a definite fit issue. Amazes me that a mere 3/4” could make that much of a difference, but I guess it’s possible? Appreciate the semi auto suggestion - I already own one of the softest shooting semis out there and love it.
New Beretta 688 Sporting Gun - Shotgun Forum
2024年11月14日 · Personally I think the 686 is cosmetically a LOT nicer gun. If you want laminate, you can get a set from Coles for $650, so you can pretty much exactly replicate the gun with a 686, with TWO stock sets, for the same cost as a 688, then sell off the walnut set and recoup 400-500 bucks. Seems like a swing and miss.

Huglu's perfomance in clay shooting - Shotgun Forum
2020年6月4日 · The HT-14 Trap Guns have just recently shown up in Canada, at about half the price of a base model Beretta. My question for you, located in Malta, is about the gunsmith service available to you if you should encounter problems with a Huglu gun.
Beretta 682 vs Silver Pigeon - Shotgun Forum
2025年2月14日 · The gun seemed to fit me fairly well but I didn't shoot good scores with it (sporting). A shooting buddy shot it and suggested we go to the pattern board. BTW- it started to ftf: after approximately 25 shots and getting warm, the top barrel would fail to fire.
Briley Gun Slip - Shotgun Forum
2025年1月1日 · Bought a Briley gun slip when updating my choke selection. It’s manmade material and a fold over top that closes with a snap system. I tend to avoid wet conditions so the purchase was for the unavoidable. That means the slip doesn’t get much use and is so snug that getting the gun in and out is...
