2002年6月4日 · For a folder, 154CM. YMMV, of course. *The CPM version of 154CM should exhibit a slight increase in toughness over the regular version. However, I would tend to doubt CPM 154CM's tougness would rival A2's. A2 at RC 60 will yield about 40 ft-lbs impact toughness versus 25-28 ft-lbs for regular 154CM in the high 50s RC.

2019年6月11日 · Then on the S35VN sheet they give Charpy data and it show's S35VN as having scored 2 ft-lbs higher than S30V. @nsm Website show's CPM-154CM as having substantially more toughness on their graph than CPM-S35VN.

2013年2月1日 · 154CM is great for an entry level steel to the world of higher performance steels, but CPM-154 craps all over 154CM and I wish makers using 154CM would take advantage of the considerable performance gains of CPM-154. S30V is an excellent steel and generally is significantly tougher than D2 or 154CM.

2007年1月9日 · All are very similiar in my experience, S30V is a little tougher than 154cm, and will hold an edge slightly longer than both, but the trade off is it will also be slightly more difficult to sharpen, between 154cm and VG-10 almost no difference really, VG-10 might hold an edge like 2% longer, but the blade grind/edge will make way more of a difference, so in actual use, between the three there ...

2005年3月18日 · It is one of the 154CM bladed 710's. Most of my knives from BM have been 154CM or S30V. The only knife I have in D2 is a queen copperhead. I know that was a pain to thin out, so I had it convexed by BRK&T. I have not looked back since then, and I can keep it razor sharp now. I have never had a problem with 154CM, but how does it compare to D2?
