May 2, 2024 · I tried the CG back at 98 mm but felt this was to squirrely in flight, didn't like it. Now I'm at 95-96 mm, the elevator is quite sensitive but manageable with expo. I also fly my Spitfire with a 6s4000 nothing heavier so its on the lighter side. Also retracting flaps just as touching down, and full up elevator.

Jan 2, 2020 · The Stubs are actually 5.5 mm diameter, BUT, the rotating pin is below the trunnion, which means the strut is weaker there due to the hole in it. The bigger problem tho is the housings and the slider bars: the housing are a weak plastic which becomes indented by the slider bars, thereby causing slop.
